Orly Soffy is the MH-139 and NAVSEA business development focal as well as Capture Team Lead
within Boeing’s Vertical Lift Organization. She is responsible for not only growing future program opportunities
but also maintaining strong customer relationships, supporting current program execution activities, and maintaining open communication with all internal and external stakeholders.
Prior to her current assignment, Orly was the Capture Team Lead and business
development lead for several tier one international customers such as Israel and the
Netherlands. She also supported multiple platforms to include Chinook, V-22, and Apache.
Her capture activities were of significant value to Boeing’s business.
Orly joined Boeing in 2004 as a member of Boeing’s Business Career Foundations
Program where she was exposed to multiple finance oriented functions within the company.
After her graduation she went into Business Development as a Marketing Operations Analyst.
In 2014 Orly left Boeing to care for her 3 young sons. However, until her return to
Boeing in 2019, she gained unique experiences in other companies. Orly served as the
Director of Business Development for JMR Program Management and then joined the
Campbell Soup Company as their Senior Manager of Marketing Procurement where she
managing all of Campbell’s marketing and media contracts.
Prior to graduating with her Bachelors of Science in Finance and International Business
from the Pennsylvania State University, Orly served 2 years in the Israel Defense Force.
She is a very active community member holding a board position within the nonprofit
Wicked Warrior of East Greenwich as well a committee member of her local Boy Scout Troop
7059. Orly is a proud mother of 3 young boys and wife to husband David.
