Danielle Martin

Danielle (Dani) started her career at Electric Boat in December of 2021 as a staffing coordinator. She currently resides in workforce development, where she is working with trade’s training and leadership development as a facilitator. Dani is constantly in the field recruiting at high schools, sporting events and college fairs to ensure Electric Boat meets their staffing goals and the Navy meets their goals for shipbuilding. Dani has a master's degree in organizational management with a specialty in human resources, and currently lives in Groton, Conn., with her two cats, Lillian and Little Mew.

Dani comes from a family of tradesmen, and has long-time experience in customer service and technical support. She has a passion for event planning and fundraising that began at the young age of six, when she helped her mom sell raffle tickets and organize fundraisers for cancer, including the Dana Farber Institute and the Jimmy Fund. For years, Dani grew her skills and knowledge and ultimately began to organize her own events. She has now branched out into her own vinyl craft and event-planning business, and has planned many weddings, baby showers, birthdays, golf tournaments and cancer charity fundraising events. Her passion for event planning continued to grow in her previous job, where she planned several events and dinners for over 400 people.

Dani continues to build relationships throughout Electric Boat to grow a career in the leadership and management fields. She is an active member and chairman of the board for the Electric Boat Management Association (EBMA). As part of this position, she helps plan EBMA’s annual golf tournaments in Connecticut and Rhode Island. She also plans all events for the Asian American Pacific Islander Network (AAPIN), a new employee resource group at Electric Boat.

As director of event coordinating for Women in Defense-New England Shoreline Chapter (WID-NESC), Dani hopes the group continues to benefit from her knowledge, skills and passion for organizing. She looks forward to demonstrating her skills through planning WID-NESC’s events and fundraisers, while networking with fellow members and making a difference in the community. Dani wishes to build a wonderful future and career at Electric Boat and is proud to be a board member of WID-NESC.
