Our mission is to engage, connect, and empower our members through social and professional events. Our goal is not only to provide an outlet for female Defense leaders within the DC area to interact with each other, but to learn more about the industry we care deeply about.
We welcome all individuals residing or working in our covered region to join our Chapter of Women In Defense. Membership in WID is open to all professional women and men whose primary professional activities are related to national defense or support any aspect of national security. All WID members are automatically members of the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) at no additional cost.
How to Join as an Individual
- Go to WomenInDefense.net/Join
- Select your type and length of membership
- Follow the prompts to enter your information, including your primary zip code to determine your Chapter affiliation
- Complete your registration to become an individual member of WID and your local Chapter
- Enjoy the many benefits of WID membership and Chapter affiliation!
